Lecture Summary

This talk briefly considers the importance of team leadership in the Emergency Department. The environment in which the leader functions is rapidly changing with information overload, the team is episodic and messy. Referring to the team and environment characteristics the talk described seven drivers of teamwork and reflects on priorities for the team lead.
