Older adults make up a steadily increasing percentage of the world’s population. They have a higher morbidity and mortality than their younger counterparts, due to their differing physiology and underlying comorbidities, leading to atypical symptoms and delayed presentation. This short lecture discussed how the physiologic changes affect older adults' presentations and response to treatment.
