Orla complications can have a distressing impact on the individual living with cancer and can lead to serious consequences if left untreated. This talk addresses the importance of addressing and manging oral complications that arise from malignant disease and cancer related treatments. The content suggests ways that the cancer and dental team can work together with the person living with cancer, to address the correct - assessment, care prevention and treatment of the short term and long term oral problems, in the cancer setting.
