This talk will help learners understand the role of point-of-care cardiac ultrasound in the assessment and management of patients in shock. It will provide a general understanding of the basics of qualitative assessments of the left ventricle, right ventricle, pericardial effusions and inferior vena cava in the critical care setting and how to integrate findings in a point of care setting.
