Dr Benjamin W. Wachira is an Emergency Physician and an Assistant Professor at the Aga Khan University, Nairobi. His passion for emergency care and developing emergency care in Kenya led him to establish the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation in 2015, a not-for-profit public benefit organization guiding and informing the development of a sustainable emergency medical care system in Kenya appropriate for the local healthcare system. His work has been widely published and he continues to lead in emergency care research in Kenya.
