Priya Nair is a Senior Specialist and Director of Intensive Care at St. Vincent’s Health Network, Sydney, Australia, a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, and a Clinical Associate Professor of Intensive Care at the University of Notre Dame.
She is a fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (Australia and NZ) and a Physician by training. She had completed post-graduate training in Clinical Epidemiology and Echocardiography. She is an elected board member and currently the Education Officer for the bi-national College.
She has research attachments with the George Institute for Global Health and the Garvan Institute for Medical Research. She has clinical and research interests in cardiothoracic intensive care and mechanical circulatory support. She has completed a Ph.D. on vitamin D in critically ill patients and is currently undertaking a multi-center study on the use of anti-resorptive medications in critically ill women.
