Ged Williams

Founding President of the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses

Ged is the Founding President of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses, World Federation of Critical Care Nurses and former Director of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine.

He is currently Area Director of Nursing & Midwifery of the South Metropolitan Health Service, Perth, Australia. Prior to that Ged spent 6 years as a lead Chief Nursing Officer in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE and prior to that 6 years as the Executive Director of Nursing & Midwifery, Gold Coast Health, Australia.

Ged has qualification in nursing, midwifery, critical care nursing, public sector management, health administration, law, company directorship and is a fellow of the Australian College of Nursing and American Academy of Nursing and a graduate of the Wharton school of management, Uni Pennsylvania, as well as Australian & New Zealand School of Government.
